At Ruach Church, we believe that God's Word is a gift—one that should be shared and cherished. But what happens when a Bible is no longer needed or used? Rather than letting it sit unused or forgotten, we’ve decided to breathe new life into it through our Bible Recycling project—a movement that is not just about recycling physical books, but about giving new hope to people who need it most.
Our journey began with a simple idea: to gather unused Bibles from generous donors who have a heart to share the Word of God. These Bibles could be sitting on bookshelves, tucked away in drawers, or gathering dust on old shelves. But here, at Ruach Church, we believe that no Bible should go to waste. Each one has the potential to change lives—and we want to make sure they do.
Through this project, we are going out into communities where the Word of God is often scarce, offering these Bibles to those who may have never had one of their own. With each Bible we hand out, we take time to share the love of Jesus Christ. We talk to people who might have never heard His name, offering not just a book, but a message of salvation, love, and hope.
The best part? We don’t stop at simply handing out Bibles. We take the time to listen, to pray with people, and to plant seeds of faith. With every prayer we offer, we invite them into the life-changing story of Jesus Christ. It’s a chance to not just change someone’s day, but to change the trajectory of their entire life.
Just imagine: a young mother who never thought she would have a Bible, holding one in her hands for the first time, reading about the hope of Jesus Christ.
